Review of Michaela's Senior Show, April 2018
"...Ms. Minock demonstrated her versatility by tapping in a duet and performing a pointe solo closing work. An accomplished technical dancer she revealed a more expressive side this afternoon.
The event was well organized with a play list that went non stop and videos that were shared on google on our big screen in Forker 196.
Costumes were simple but effective. Her cast was supportive and well rehearsed. As always Michaela runs a very well organized show....
One of Michaela's strong suits is her ability to include information about complex subjects through dance. I enjoyed the use of props in the work. Their use added to the personal nature of the work.
Once again she was able to work with a cast with different abilities and create an ensemble. I enjoyed the ease that these dancers presented Michaela's work. A dedication to her teaching abilities.
This presentation was a celebration of an excellent student who will find her way to making a difference with the performing arts, dance and the wonderful world of food."
