Michaela's love for dance extends to wanting to share it with others through education. She sees teaching as just as important an aspect of her dance practice as performing and choreographing. Michaela is currently a teacher at an elementary school in Minneapolis.  She completed a teacher preparation program for dance education at Rutgers University and completed her student teaching in 2021 within the Franklin Township Public Schools district in New Jersey. She holds a Minnesota Tier 3 License for Dance, a New Jersey PK-12 Dance Teaching Certificate of Eligibility with Advanced Standing and a New Jersey Substitute Teacher Credential. Additionally, Michaela has experience teaching dance in dance studios, after-school extracurricular programs, and university-based student organizations.
